Loading templates without corrupting boilerplate

QPSG templates already carry the authority line, claim block, and placeholders. Corruption usually happens after the load: a Word paste on top of the catalog, a deleted divine-law sentence, or Accept-all on a draft that was never loaded from the sidebar.

What usually goes wrong

• Select without load — the dropdown changes, Input still holds the last draft. Click LOAD-TEMPLATE.
• Paste over the catalog — Word or PDF text collapses line breaks and can duplicate THE or IS on the authority line.
• Delete the divine-law line — every catalog template includes WITH THE AUTHORITY OF THE DIVINE-LAW IS WITH THE SUPREME-AUTHORITY. Leave it.
• Rewrite instead of fill — change [YOUR-FULL-NAME] and dates. Do not restyle the FOR / IS / WITH blocks by hand.

What the status panel means

After LOAD-TEMPLATE, Analysis results shows a template panel:

• UP TO DATE — the catalog matches current processor rules. Fill brackets, then ANALYZE.
• NEEDS RULE UPDATE — current rules would change the catalog text. Use APPLY NORMALIZED TEMPLATE if you want the rule-corrected version (line breaks stay). Then review Diff.
• Input edited since load — your typing is kept. Catalog status is separate from your edits.

The panel also lists what the template contains (divine-law line, FOR-claim, sealed ~1~ facts, name placeholders).

How to run it

1. Open the processor. Pick a category in the sidebar (will, trust, court, notice).
2. Select a template, then click LOAD-TEMPLATE.
3. Read the template status panel. If it says NEEDS RULE UPDATE and you have not edited Input, apply the normalized catalog.
4. Replace [BRACKETS] only. Leave the divine-law line and FOR / IS / WITH frame.
5. ANALYZE → PREVIEW-CORRECTIONS. Subscribe to Accept-all and Copy.
